Last month, three junior high school students were arrested in Osaka for allegedly threatening a male university student with money and causing him to fall from a building.Of the three, a 14-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy at the time were arrested. Interviews with investigators revealed that he was suspected of planning to threaten university students by saying things like, ``They are adults, so it would be a crime to touch them.''

Last month, in Osaka's Chuo Ward, police accused a 22-year-old university student living in Shiga Prefecture of blackmailing him into falling from a building in order to steal his money. Both were junior high school students living in Osaka Prefecture, a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, police said. The boy, who was 13 years old at the time, was arrested on suspicion of robbery causing death, and the boy, who was 13 years old at the time, was reported to a child welfare center.

Of the three, a girl and a 13-year-old boy at the time appear to have pretended to be 17-year-old fictitious women on social media, communicated with the university students, and lured them away.

A subsequent investigation revealed that the two men were suspected of planning to threaten university students, saying, ``Since they are minors, just touching them or making a promise to meet them would be a crime.'' I found out through the interview.

On the day of the incident, it is believed that the girl lured the college student to the 6th floor of a 7-story building, then met up with the two boys downstairs and returned to the 6th floor. The girl and the 13-year-old boy at the time were killed. ``When I returned, the victim was at the landing of the stairs, and when I called out to him, he ran upstairs.''

Police believe that the university student jumped onto the roof of a four-story building next door and then fell onto the street. The police are investigating the incident.

Of the two arrested, the girl admitted to the charges, while the 15-year-old boy partially denied the charges.
