The defendant, who was acting as the actor Seinosuke Murasugi, was accused of purchasing and receiving marijuana and other substances from traffickers, and he admitted to the charges at his first trial.

Prosecutors are seeking a 10-month prison sentence, and the sentence will be handed down on the 27th of this month.

The defendant, Seinosuke Murasugi (real name Yuichi Murasugi, 58), who was active as an actor and musician, purchased marijuana and other items four times between early November of last year and mid-January of last year. He has been charged with violating the Special Drug Provisions Act for having the drug sent and receiving it.

At the first trial held at the Fukushima District Court on the 12th, the defendant admitted the charges, saying, ``There is no doubt about it.''

During questioning, the defendant said, ``Meeting people was stressful, and using drugs helped me feel better.I'm not thinking about going back to acting because I'm causing trouble for the people who took care of me.'' I did.

The prosecutor said, ``The defendant has long been interested in drugs such as marijuana. He keeps it in his room to the point where he can no longer keep track of the types of drugs he possesses, and his addiction and dependence are deep-rooted.He will continue to do so in a secluded place. "We cannot deny that there is a risk that he may have obtained or used the information," the court said, and asked for a 10-month prison sentence.

On the other hand, the defense argued, ``The defendant is remorseful, and the loss of his career could serve as a motive to deter him from reoffending.''

The verdict will be handed down on the 27th of this month.
