A woman's body was found on the Rhine dam

After a dead woman was found on the Rhine dam near Hockenheim, the woman's identity has been clarified.
It is a 27-year-old who was previously reported missing, as the police in Mannheim announced on Monday evening.
According to current findings, the woman died as a result of external violence.
The 27-year-old had been traveling with her mother and her five-week-old daughter in the previous days.
Their whereabouts are currently unclear.
A passer-by discovered the dead woman last Thursday on the Rhine dam near Hockenheim in the Rhein-Neckar district.
The special commission set up to investigate the death is now hoping for information from witnesses about the whereabouts of the 51-year-old woman and the infant, as well as about unusual observations such as a fire in the area of the so-called NATO ramp.
