CAF Champions League: a promising quarter-final draw
The Confederation of African Football carried out the draw on Tuesday March 12 for the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the CAF Cup.
Al Ahly, title holders, will cross swords against the Tanzanian club Simba SC.

The eight qualified for the quarter-finals were divided into two pots for the draw.
Pot 1 included Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast), Petro de Luanda (Angola), and Al Ahly (Egypt), all topping their groups.
In pot 2, we found TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Simba Sport (Tanzania), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and Young Africans (Tanzania).
Al Ahly, defending champion, favorite to win their own title for a twelfth title, will cross swords against the Tanzanian club Simba SC.
Recent winner of the first edition of the African Football League, Mamelodi Sundowns will have to do battle with the Tanzanians Young Africans.
TP Mazembe, back at this level for the first time since 2020, will face Angolans Atletico Petroleos.
