A 24-year-old driver who was arrested on the street in Sagamihara City for molesting a female junior high school student under the pretense of doing an interview for NHK was later arrested and later molested another female junior high school student in the same manner. He was re-arrested on the 11th for doing so.
The driver who was re-arrested was Kazuma Takeda (24), a resident of Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City.
According to the police, in December of last year, he is suspected of molesting a female student in her third year of junior high school on the street in Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, by calling out to her that she was taking a survey from NHK.
In response to the investigation, he reportedly stated, ``I will remain silent about this matter.''
The suspect has no connection to NHK, but was arrested last month for allegedly molesting another female junior high school student in a similar manner in February last year.
Police are investigating whether there are any other similar incidents.
NHK reporters and directors carry employee identification cards when reporting.
