In recent years, the People's Court has taken international judicial exchanges and cooperation as the starting point to build a publicity platform for the achievements of the rule of law, promote the exchange and mutual learning of Chinese and foreign trial experience, continuously consolidate the foundation of foreign-related rule of law, and actively provide solid judicial services to escort high-level opening up to the outside world.

The People's Court cooperated with UN Women to release China's Top Ten Typical Cases Against Domestic Violence (2023), participated in the writing of the "China Chapter" of the World Intellectual Property Organization's "International Guide to the Management of Patent Cases for Judges", and promoted the opening of the Beijing Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships for signature , became the first United Nations international maritime convention named after a Chinese city. China's judicial cases on environmental resources trials and several environmental judicial reports were published in the United Nations Environment Program environmental law database and related portals... The People's Court deepens international judicial exchanges and cooperation, setting a benchmark These cases and reports have been adopted by international organizations, strongly promoting the concept of rule of law with Chinese characteristics to the international community, and effectively increasing the voice and influence of China's rule of law.

In addition, three judges of the Supreme People's Court have gone to the United Nations Appeals Tribunal, the United Nations Dispute Tribunal and the International Labor Organization Administrative Tribunal to perform their duties and hear cases, contributing China's judicial wisdom and strength to the improvement of governance and healthy development of international organizations.

  Deepen the construction of a diversified resolution platform for international commercial disputes and promote the organic connection between litigation, arbitration and mediation.

The International Commercial Expert Committee of the Supreme People's Court has 61 members from 24 countries and regions. It mediates international commercial disputes and provides advisory opinions on the ascertainment and application of extraterritorial laws.

The Second International Commercial Court of the Supreme People's Court successfully mediated a dispute involving a subject amount of 1 billion yuan between a Chinese and foreign enterprise, prompting both parties to withdraw multiple related lawsuits at home and abroad, and the cooperative relationship was restored.

The "Oriental experience" of mediation has traveled across the ocean and demonstrated the wisdom of China's rule of law.

16,000 commercial arbitration judicial review cases were concluded, a year-on-year increase of 5%; arbitration supervision was strengthened, and 552 arbitration awards were ruled to be revoked, the same year-on-year; 69 overseas arbitration awards were recognized (recognized) and enforced, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%, arbitration-friendly The judicial environment is well recognized.

2023 is the tenth anniversary of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. The Supreme People’s Court hosted the “Maritime Silk Road (Quanzhou) International Forum on Judicial Cooperation (2023)”, and the Supreme People’s Court of relevant countries that jointly built the “Belt and Road” held a forum for the courts of the border provinces of China and Vietnam. Seminars, the 6th and 7th China-Singapore Legal and Judicial Roundtables, etc. have injected new judicial momentum into promoting high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road”.

As a result of the 6th China-Singapore Legal and Judicial Roundtable, the Supreme Courts of China and Singapore signed the "Supreme Court of the People's Republic of China and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore on the Management of International Commercial Affairs in the Context of the "Belt and Road Initiative" through a Litigation Mediation Framework.
