Last month, three junior high school students were arrested in Osaka's Chuo Ward for threatening a male university student and causing him to fall from a building in order to steal his money. One of the three, a 14-year-old girl, said, ``My mother called me.'' Interviews with investigators revealed that he is suspected of luring university students to the building by lying.

A 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, both junior high school students in Osaka Prefecture, were robbed last month in Kawara-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka, after threatening a 22-year-old university student from Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture with the intention of stealing his money, causing him to fall to his death from a building. He was arrested on suspicion of causing death.

Police also notified the child welfare center about the 13-year-old boy who was with her at the time.

It is known that on the day of the incident, the university student met up with the girl at a convenience store about 200 meters away from the crime scene, but the girl lured the university student to the building where the crime occurred, lying that she had been called by her mother. This suspicion was revealed through interviews with investigators.

It appears that the girl then left the university student waiting on the 6th floor of the building, went down to the 4th floor, met up with the two boys, and then returned to the 6th floor.

Police believe that the girl and a 13-year-old boy at the time were in a relationship, and that the two planned to steal the money, and are investigating the details of the incident.

Upon investigation, the girl admitted to the charges, while the boy partially denied the charges.
