American actress Natalie Portman and French choreographer Benjamin Millepied have divorced, several American media announced on Friday.
The couple had been married since 2012. The divorce proceedings were finalized last month, according to the People site, which cites the actress's entourage.
This separation comes after rumors of Benjamin Millepied's infidelity, published in the tabloid press last spring.
Natalie Portman, 42, starred in “Black Swan” (2010), for which she received the Academy Award for Best Actress.
She also played the wife of former President John Kennedy in “Jackie” 2016.
Benjamin Millepied is a dancer and choreographer.
He was notably the dance director of the Paris Opera between 2014 and 2016. The couple has two children.
Contacted by AFP, Natalie Portman's agents did not immediately respond.
