In DR Congo, the prosecution requested twenty years in prison against Congolese journalist Stanis Bujakera.

The deputy director of the media Actualité.cd and correspondent for “Jeune Afrique” is accused of having “fabricated” a document incriminating Congolese military intelligence in the death of opponent Chérubin Okende.

The journalist is being prosecuted for “counterfeiting, forgery, use of forgery, propagation of false rumors”.
