Over the past few days, the temperature has gradually warmed.

In view of the fact that the temperature difference between day and night is large and freezing damage decreases during the spring thaw, the Daqing Public Works Section has taken effective measures to inspect and repair equipment during the spring thaw to ensure line safety.

On March 8, Cao Rui, the line monitor of the Daqing line workshop of the Daqing Public Works Section of China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd., lay on the rail with squinted eyes to see the level of the line. The ponytail behind his hat was blown by the wind like a lively elf.

Cao Rui, a "post-80s generation", is the first squad leader of the women's maintenance class of the Daqing Public Works Section. She and 14 sisters formed the "Temulan" women's team with an average age of only 28 years old. They were responsible for the Binzhou Line from 143 kilometers to 196 kilometers, Daqing East There are five stations including Daqing Station, Daqing West Station, Ranghu Road Station and Lamadian Station, with a total of 238.861 kilometers of lines and 406 sets of turnout inspection tasks. The establishment of the female team broke the "dominated" pattern of male employees in the public works system.

Although the "Temulan" women's team has been established for less than two years, it shoulders heavy responsibilities.

The century-old Binzhou Railway is an important link in the eastern transportation corridor of China-Europe trains. It is an important transportation link between China, Europe and the countries co-building the "Belt and Road". It passes 150 million tons of cargo every year, with an average of every 13 minutes during peak periods. A train passes here.

The line they inspected passed through the Longfeng Wetland Nature Reserve. The roadbed had high moisture content, severe frost damage, and a heavy workload for daily maintenance.

In March, the temperature has risen significantly, the equipment has entered the spring melting period, the frequency of inspections has increased, and the maintenance tasks have become increasingly heavy.

In the male-dominated line inspection industry, Cao Rui led the "Iron Mulan" workers, like most line workers, with equipment inspection tools such as track rulers, curved ropes, track inspection instruments, and inspection hammers, and inspected 10 kilometers of track every day. The circuits and spare parts were inspected hand in hand, and they had to repeatedly bend over and kneel down.

"Even if we are dressed like bears, we are still vulnerable to the cold." Cao Rui introduced.

When it snowed, it was even harder to move. When they encountered thick snow, in order to see the status of their equipment, they knelt in the cold snow and cleared it bit by bit with their hands. The biting coldness instantly penetrated their bodies and rushed When I'm on my period, I feel erect all day long.

In winter, my hands and feet often get chilblains, which are as swollen as steamed buns; in summer, my face becomes red from the sun when I wear a sunscreen mask.

"When you go out, you look like a flower, but when you come home, you are like a flower." This is their true portrayal.

The 15 "Temulans" who are at the age of beauty-loving, posted beautiful photos with exquisite makeup in their circle of friends. The moment they put on yellow vests and walked on the line, the eyes of the young girls were full of seriousness and responsibility.

Most of the sections they inspected were sparsely populated areas. During night inspections, the sisters cheered each other up on the dark inspection roads.

There was no resting place during the catch-up period, so we could only bring water, bread, and biscuits with us, and let the cold wind satisfy our hunger.

"It was really unbearable at the beginning. My whole body ached. It took several days before I gradually got used to it." Du Qiuhan, who just joined the company last year, said that compared with the intensity of work of other male colleagues in repairing and changing tracks, this was difficult for them. Nothing.

In addition to overcoming the fear of darkness, each of the "Temulans" are also "strong men".

During line inspection, if a track inspection instrument is used for inspection, they will lift an instrument weighing 100 kilograms up and down more than a hundred times a day.

"No. 131, two outer bolts on the curved rail and the outer end of the turnout are loose," Cao Rui, who was inspecting the rail, reported the problem discovered.

After constant training, "Iron Mulan" has developed a keen eye for the gaps between rail joints, and can estimate the distance without measuring.

The problem data that can be checked and analyzed is faster and more accurate than that of male employees.

After continuous practice and innovation, they applied the "double Y" inspection method of high-speed railway lines to ordinary speed railways for the first time. Inspection and review can be carried out through flashlight video recording, which greatly improves the accuracy of line inspection.

From 6 to 15 people, the strength of the "Temulan" women's maintenance team has doubled, and they are more confident in doing their job well.

At the end of the day's inspection, the "Temulans" sat on the floor, looking at the sun in the distance, with bright smiles on their youthful faces.
