Up to now, the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou Railway has laid a total of 72 kilometers of track, of which 32 kilometers of the main line have been laid. It will pass through Liantang Station in Qingpu District, Shanghai, and is expected to be laid to Fenhu Station in Wujiang District, Jiangsu Province on March 9. Station, the total length of the line is 163.7 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The entire line has 7 stations including Shanghai Hongqiao, Songjiang South, Liantang, Fenhu, Shengze, Nanxun, and Huzhou East.

The total track length of the entire line is 450.1 kilometers, of which 384.5 kilometers are laid on the main line and 65.6 kilometers are laid on the station line.

  "Now we are working in two shifts, with people shutting down the machines non-stop. The track laying speed is an average of ten kilometers per day, which is 10,000 meters per day." Zheng Zhiyong, deputy secretary of the Party branch of the track branch of the Husu Lake Project Department of China Railway Second Bureau, told Reporter, currently 3 traveling gantry cranes, 32 fixed gantry cranes, 3 sets of track laying machines, 6 locomotives and 3 rail cars have been put into use. During the peak period of construction, more than 800 people will be working at the same time, and two groups of people will work in two shifts. According to the operation mode, the ballastless track laying from Songjiang to Huzhou is expected to be completed on April 5, and then transferred to the ballasted track laying from Songjiang to Hongqiao.

  It is reported that the track laying construction of the entire line is expected to be completed by the end of June this year, and will then move to the static acceptance, joint debugging and joint testing stages, and the conditions will be ready for operation by the end of this year.
