  This special exhibition displays nearly 100 pieces of Confucian ritual instruments from the Confucius Mansion's old collection, as well as clothes and crowns handed down from the Yanshenggong Mansion in the Ming and Qing Dynasties during the Republic of China. They are collected by the Confucius Museum in Qufu, Shandong, including 10 first-class cultural relics and 5 second-class cultural relics. Among them, the Ming Dynasty Chenghua Kui dragon pattern Dafang Ding, Ming Chi Luo Yi, Zao Luo Yi, etc. are all exhibited in Zhejiang for the first time.

  Ji Xiaofen, director of the China Silk Museum, said that the holding of this special exhibition is valuable because many cultural relics have come to Zhejiang for the first time and are even on display to the public for the first time.

Inviting overseas students to participate in the opening ceremony of the exhibition and observe ritual and music performances is to achieve linkage between museums and universities and to display and spread the unique charm of Chinese ritual, music, clothing and cultural relics.

  It is reported that the Confucius Museum is the leading collection of ritual vessels and costumes dedicated to Confucius, with more than a thousand sacrificial vessels from the Pre-Qin Dynasty to the Republic of China, and thousands of costumes from the Yanshenggong family in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
