The Pop Women Festival opens its doors in Reims
When women artists from different disciplines are in the spotlight... This is happening in Reims, in eastern France, starting this Thursday, the eve of International Women's Rights Day.
For three days, and for its 3rd edition, the Pop Women Festival invites around thirty comic book authors, novelists and musicians for unique meetings.

Based on this observation, Céline Bagot designed a feminine and feminist festival at the crossroads of genres and sectors of pop culture: comics, series, music... and even football, since this third edition opens with training drawn from the women's team at the Reims stadium.
In total, between March 7 and 9, around thirty personalities come to Reims, including the creator of Aya de Yopougon, notes Céline Bagot, the creator of the Pop Women Festival:

This year, we are lucky, for the first time we are welcoming Marguerite Abouet who will come and talk to us about racialized characters in pop culture.
She will be accompanied by Grace Ly and Mélody Ung who wrote a children's book with a young Asian woman who talks about her relationship with love and food.
It interested me to see how we manage to avoid cultivating clichés.

Unity is strength in Reims, with cross-meetings, such as a drawn concert on Saturday, with the artist Louison on the drawing and the singer Clou on stage.
