The latest report released Thursday by the Hamas Ministry of Health shows 30,800 people killed in Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, the majority civilians, since the start of the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement.

Three members of the crew of a merchant ship were killed Wednesday in the Gulf of Aden by a missile from Yemen, according to the US military, in what appears to be the first direct fatal attack by Houthi rebels offshore from Yemen.
