In June of last year, a party to celebrate Prime Minister Kishida's inauguration was held at a hotel in Hiroshima.

Regarding this, a university professor said, ``Although it was organized by a random promoter, based on his contact information, it was a political funding party sponsored by the Prime Minister's support group.''

In addition to Prime Minister Kishida, a total of four supporters' association representatives and accounting officers stated that ``the political funds income and expenditure report of the supporters' association from the year before yesterday did not record any income or expenditures on this occasion.'' A complaint was filed with the Hiroshima District Public Prosecutors Office on February 29 on suspicion of violating the Political Funds Control Act.

Prime Minister Kishida has previously stated in the Diet, ``I recognize that this is a pure celebration that was organized by people in the local business and political circles, and is not a political funding party.'' ” and so on.
