Around six months after her abdominal operation, Princess Kate will appear in public again on June 8th.

According to the British Ministry of Defense, she will attend a military parade that day.

It is Kate's first officially announced appearance since her retirement from the public eye.

The palace did not initially confirm participation.

There had previously been speculation about Princess Kate's health after the 42-year-old underwent abdominal surgery at a private clinic in London on January 16th.

She was released from the clinic at the end of January.

The palace had said the princess would "probably not return to her public duties before Easter."

It is still unclear whether she will attend appointments again before the military parade in June.

News of Kate's public appearance was announced on the British Army's website, where the event on June 8 is being promoted with the note that "Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales" will officiate the parade.

A week later, the main event “Trooping the Color” takes place in the presence of King Charles III.

who is currently being treated for an unspecified cancer.

The head of state's birthday is in November.

But Charles is sticking to the tradition of hosting the parade at a time of year when better weather can be expected.

Kate was spotted in a car wearing sunglasses

The princess was seen in public again for the first time on Monday.

The US celebrity website published photos showing Kate wearing sunglasses and her mother in a car.

According to the website, the photos were taken near Windsor Castle.

Charles met personally with Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt on Tuesday.

The meeting between the monarch and Chancellor of the Exchequer traditionally takes place on the eve of the budget presentation in Parliament, which is scheduled for this Wednesday.

Kate's uncle takes part in "Celebrity Big Brother" - and complains about Prince Harry

Gary Goldsmith lives up to his reputation as the enfant terrible of the future queen's family: Kate's brother takes part in the British TV show "Celebrity Big Brother" and criticized Prince Harry on the first day.

Kate's brother-in-law and his wife, Duchess Meghan, have slammed the entire Royal Family with their public allegations, said Gary Goldsmith, according to the Telegraph newspaper.

"I was pretty upset when they attacked my beautiful niece who couldn't say anything in her defense."

Goldsmith said he assured his older sister Carole Middleton that he would not cause any mischief on the TV show.

The family has enough on their plate because Kate has been recovering from abdominal surgery for weeks.

However, the businessman also said: "Every part of me is full of disaster and danger." Living with him is a nightmare.

"There's a reason I had four wives."

It is not the first time that a family member of the future royal couple has taken part in a television show.

In 2022, Mike Tindall took part in the British jungle camp - he is the husband of Zara Tindall.

She in turn is the daughter of Princess Anne and therefore a cousin of heir to the throne Prince William.
