According to the Guangzhou Railway Public Security Department, on February 27, on the K4569 train from Chengdu West to Dongguan East, a 74-year-old elderly passenger suddenly fell ill and fell into a coma. After his husband found out, he immediately sought help from the train staff.

Because the train broadcast failed to seek medical attention, the sick passengers urgently needed to get off the train and seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

"Time is life." At this time, the train was still 2 hours away from the next station. In order to buy time for the elderly to receive treatment, the conductor quickly reported to the railway dispatcher and finally decided to let the K4569 train temporarily stop at the nearest Shaoguan East Station. The patient is handed over and taken to the hospital.

At 9:01, after receiving the rescue alert, the Shaoguan East Station Police Station immediately dispatched police to contact the train staff to learn more about the patients and passengers, and deployed police to the platform to open a green channel to maintain order on the scene.

Considering that the sick passenger was older, the police coordinated with the passenger transport in advance to ensure that the passenger could receive medical treatment as quickly as possible after the train arrived at the station.

At 9:05, the police arrived at the scene and were ready, waiting for the passenger to arrive at the station together with the ambulance crew.

At 9:19, the K4569 train stopped at platform three. The police and medical staff got on the train and carried the passenger off on a stretcher, and escorted him to platform one to take an ambulance.

Medical staff checked on site and found that the passenger was still breathing and had a pulse.

"Don't worry, we will send her to the hospital for treatment immediately." The police continued to calm the anxiety of the passengers' families.

At about 9:30, the old man was escorted by the police and station staff and was smoothly sent to Shaozhou People's Hospital for treatment.

After hospital examination and diagnosis, the passenger was in coma caused by cerebral blood vessel blockage, so he was urgently transferred to the ICU of Shaoguan First People's Hospital and received further treatment accompanied by his family members.

Due to timely rescue, the passengers are now out of danger and are recovering.

Railway police remind passengers: In addition to taking regular medication, patients with underlying diseases should carry emergency medicine with them when going out on the train. It is best to be accompanied by family members who are familiar with the disease and pay attention to their physical condition at all times.

If you feel unwell on the way, don't panic, stay calm, and seek help immediately from train staff and police at the station police station.
