The chalet which was used for the film “Anatomy of a Fall”, which won multiple awards at the last César ceremony, is available, in part, for rental on the Airbnb platform.

It is located in the town of Villarembert, in Savoie, at 1,400 meters above sea level.

Located at an altitude of 1,400 meters, in the town of Villarembert, in Savoie, it offers proximity to the ski slopes and hiking trails.

The chalet is only ten minutes from La Toussuire, a resort in the Sybelles ski area.

The ad, rated 4.97/5 by users, specifies that it is an old renovated Maurien farmhouse, with a private terrace on the ground floor.

The accommodation - a duplex apartment ideal for four people - does not, however, have a Wi-Fi connection.

The other part of the chalet is occupied by the owners. 

A modified decor... then dismantled

A setting which should therefore attract fans of the film, which won a mountain of awards during the last César ceremony.

The feature film was crowned best film and Justine Triet became the second woman to win the best director award.

Six Caesars in total, not counting the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and two Golden Globes.

“Beyond the decoration which was completely different, I changed the floor and partitioned it with wooden walls,” explains Emmanuelle Duplay, head decorator, to the specialist magazine.

The initial set was, however, reinstalled identically once filming was completed.

“A bit as if we had never set foot there.”
