March 1st to March 8th is Women's Health Week.

In Marunouchi, Tokyo, an event is being held to consider the health of working women.

Various symposia on the theme of working women's health are being held for two days until March 2nd at a venue on the first floor of a building in Marunouchi.

On the 1st, experts exchanged opinions based on the results of a survey of approximately 3,900 working women, and introduced that 88% of women answered that their symptoms were unique to women and that their work was affected. I explained how interpersonal relationships in the workplace affect women's health and work performance.

Additionally, in a survey of men, 89% said they were reluctant to speak up about women's health.

At the venue, there was also a corner where visitors could feel free to relax and receive dietary advice from a registered dietitian.

A man in his 50s said, ``There are many things that we don't know, even though we seem to know them, and if we knew more about women's health, we might be able to choose words differently in the workplace.''

In addition, Professor Honami Yoshida of Kanagawa University of Health and Welfare, who is supervising the event, said, ``If women are able to work more easily and can fully demonstrate their full potential, I think it will be easier for men to complain about their health problems, so I think that communication about health will improve.'' I want it to be a comfortable workplace," he said.

This event will be held on the 2nd at the Maru Building in Marunouchi, Tokyo.
