An Israeli rabbi named Meir Eliyahu made a loud surprise by saying that Palestinian resistance fighters are disguising themselves as occupation soldiers and killing them.

The rabbi said, “The enemy knows well his playing field, as he is the one who set up the ambushes,” stressing that more than 30 soldiers were killed by Israeli army fire, and that “there are several soldiers who were killed by other soldiers.”

Then the rabbi, who obtained his information from the Israeli army, asked, “How do I know that they are soldiers from our army? Maybe they are not from our army. It is clear that they are affiliated with the Palestinian resistance, and they shot the soldiers and killed them.”

On the other hand, Rabbi Eliyahu expressed his belief that Israel will not win its war on the Gaza Strip, “We know very well that we will not win this war,” and called on all Israelis to hold themselves accountable.
