RBC writes about this with reference to a study published in the scientific journal “Questions of Statistics”.

The researchers write that the higher the family income, the more often the couple plans to have a child in the summer.

It is noted that a similar trend has been recorded in a number of Russian regions: as researchers write, in regions with a higher quality of life and a predominant urban population, the choice of having a child most often falls in one of the summer months.

Experts attribute this seasonality to holidays, migration, seasonality of marriages, as well as physical activity and dietary patterns.

As the article says, planning to have a child in the summer is more feasible from an economic point of view.

So, experts write, you can save on buying warm outerwear for pregnant women, spend more time outdoors and diversify your mother’s diet with fruits and vegetables.
