The British singer
Adele
has canceled her concerts scheduled in
Las Vegas
during the month of March, under the
Weekends with Adele
format , due to the health problems that she has been experiencing for some time and that affect her voice.
"Unfortunately, I have to take a break and stop my concerts in Las Vegas," the Set Fire to the Rain
singer wrote
on her Instagram profile.
The singer explains: "I've been sick at the end of the last leg (of concerts in
Las Vegas
) and throughout the break. I hadn't had a chance to fully recover before the shows resumed."
Without offering more details about her ailments, the popular singer points out that, "on doctor's orders," she has no choice but to take a break.
"The remaining five weekends of this stretch (of concerts) are postponed until later. We are already finalizing the details and will send the information as soon as possible," he adds in his message.

Adele
offered
her last stretch of concerts in
Las Vegas that were to last until mid-June.
In total she planned to perform
50 weekends
with a total of one hundred concerts, according to the show's promoters.
The Skyfall
performer
also plans to return to
Europe
in the month of August, to the German city of
Munich
, where she will offer a total of eight concerts.
