Accident scene in Aachen: violent impact

A bus left the road at a roundabout in Aachen and crashed into a bus stop and a building wall.
According to police, twelve passengers and the bus driver were injured in the accident.
Seven people have already been released on site after medical first aid.
The driver and five passengers were taken to hospital for further treatment.
The accident on Sunday afternoon caused a lot of material damage, including to the wall of the affected building: Pictures show that the bus tore a hole in the wall of the house.
The accident site was closed for several hours and the cause of the accident is still unclear.
