The Japanese language test began at 9:30 a.m. in the classroom at the venue.



According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the number of applicants for the second stage exam nationwide was 423,260 in the first, middle, and second semesters, the second lowest after last year, which was the lowest since 2001, when statistics are available.



The average application ratio was


3.9 times for national universities, the same as last year,


5.5 times for public universities, 0.1 points lower than last year,


and 4.3 times overall, the same as last year.



The results for the first semester will be announced


from the 1st of next month for public universities


and from the 6th of next month for national universities.
