(News Broadcast): Today (February 22), in "Story of Delegate Members Fulfilling Their Duties", we will get to know a "post-90s" National People's Congress representative who returned to the countryside to build his hometown after graduating from university - Chaoyang, Liaoning Province Wang Ying, secretary of the Party branch of Shijiazi Village in the county.

In the past few days, the e-commerce platform in Shijiazi Village, Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province has been busy promoting live broadcasts of agricultural products during the Lantern Festival.

Last year during the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Ying put forward suggestions to promote agricultural products from villages to cities and accelerate the construction of rural e-commerce logistics systems.

The proposal has received attention from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce. Relevant provincial and municipal departments have helped local governments increase logistics stations, repair roads in remote areas, and improve the logistics system for agricultural product transportation.

In less than a year, the e-commerce delivery efficiency of agricultural products in Shijiazi Village has greatly improved. In 2023, agricultural product sales will increase by more than 20%, exceeding 10 million yuan.

32-year-old Wang Ying studied in a rural area, went to college, and then returned to the countryside to build her hometown after graduation, so she attaches great importance to the development of rural education.

This year, she has focused on improving the quality education of rural children.

It's winter vacation now, and Wang Ying went to the students' homes in the village to conduct research.

During the visit, Wang Ying found that many children in the village showed strong interest in singing, dancing, etc., and many children also hope to use artistic expertise as their future development direction. However, there are few opportunities to receive guidance from professional teachers.

During this year's two sessions, Wang Ying suggested increasing investment in art education for rural children, hoping that by continuously improving rural school conditions, rural education would be filled with shortcomings, the gap between urban and rural education should be narrowed, and rural revitalization could be boosted.
