A protein-rich breakfast

However, of the 80% of French people who eat breakfast, six out of ten have a preference for the traditional buttered baguette.

“I have a coffee, a toast with butter and honey on it”, “a glass of orange juice and a toast”, “a hot chocolate, milk and pastries”, testify these French people.

Except that with a croissant for breakfast, often, within the hour that follows, you find yourself with a rumbling stomach.

Conversely, a breakfast rich in protein, with eggs or oatmeal for example, keeps you satisfied and you can even gain 30 minutes more concentration on average, or three times more than with toast.

“By having a protein breakfast, we will really help the body to synthesize dopamine, noradrenaline. These are two neurotransmitters, two molecules which will act on our state of mind and have this effect on motivation, on concentration and on memorization", explains a dietitian nutritionist at the microphone of Europe 1.

The nutritionist therefore recommends pairing your coffee with a small mature cheese, smoked salmon or eggs.

Sweet tooths can think of protein muffins or pancakes.
