On the occasion of the 49th César ceremony, Europe 1 is setting up a special system to bring to life and celebrate on its antenna the richness and diversity of the 7th art.

Our station adjusts its program schedule to the colors of cinema by offering listeners special shows, exclusive interviews, debates and testimonials allowing them to immerse themselves in the French cinematographic event of the year.

On the occasion of the 49th César ceremony, broadcast live, unencrypted and exclusively on Canal+, Europe 1 is setting up a special system to bring to life and celebrate on its antenna the richness and diversity of the 7th art. 

All day Friday, February 23, the channel is mobilizing to bring the cinematic event to its listeners.

  • Europe 1 Matin (7 a.m.-9 a.m.):

    Lionel Gougelot

     will interview French cinema personalities at 7:10 a.m.

    Journalist 

    Marie Gicquel

     will take listeners behind the scenes at the Césars where she will attend rehearsals.

  • Media Culture (9:30 a.m.-11 a.m.) - Thomas Isle

  • Historically Yours (3 p.m.-4 p.m.) 

    : Through a story,

     will introduce listeners to the story of Jean Rochefort, the first César winner.

  • Sophie & Les Copains (4 p.m.-6 p.m.) - Sophie Davant 

    : Europe 1 listeners will be invited to take part in today's quiz.

    On the program: cinema questions around the Caesars to try to win the jackpot of the day!

  • Europe 1 Evening (7 p.m.-8 p.m.) - Pierre de Vilno 

    : Duplex live from the Olympia.

    's microphone , the winners will answer her questions, a few minutes before the opening of the ceremony.

From 8 p.m., Olivier Benkemoun will present a special show live to immerse listeners in the heart of the César ceremony.
