Major operation in Wuppertal

Several students were injured in an attack at a school in Wuppertal.

A suspect was arrested, said a police spokesman in Düsseldorf.

The police and fire brigade are on site with many forces.

There are five injured.

According to the spokesman, the arrested man was also injured.

As the police announced, it was the Wilhelm-Dörpfeld-Gymnasium in the Elberfeld district.

A contact point has been set up for parents.

According to police, no shots were fired during the incident.
