When he saw the fundraising donation information in WeChat Moments, Feng donated 20 yuan. After the payment was deducted, he found that he actually paid 23 yuan. How was the extra 3 yuan deducted?

On February 21, when the reporter contacted Feng, he was still wondering about the extra 3 yuan from the Easy Raising Platform.

Feng said that at first he did not realize where the 3 yuan fee was deducted, and thought it was a handling fee. Later, when he clicked on the donation page, he discovered that it was actually because he checked the box to purchase the " Green medical channel service”.

Feng believes that this "green medical service" does not clearly indicate the purpose, price and other information of the service, and it is easy for donors to mistakenly think that it is a necessary step for donating, leading to misunderstandings and purchasing the service.

In an interview with reporters, the customer service staff of Qingshuangqiao said that the green medical channel can provide green channel services such as registration and consultation. If the donor has questions, this service can be canceled within 1-7 days.

Is the extra money after donating 20 yuan and actually paying 23 yuan a "handling fee"?

Feng told reporters that on the 20th, he saw a friend in his circle of friends who he had not seen for a long time posted a fundraising message, so he clicked on the fundraising page. After viewing the graphic and text information about his friend’s fundraising, he donated 20 yuan.

Unexpectedly, when he actually paid, the backend reminded him that he had paid 23 yuan.

At first, Feng suspected that the 3 yuan was a handling fee deducted by the platform. But after thinking about it carefully, if a handling fee of 3 yuan was deducted for every donation, would the fee be too high?

Feng reopened the page and found that he had actually checked the option at the bottom of the page titled "I have read and agreed to the Green Medical Service Description | Health Notice", and the cost of this "Green Channel Medical Service" , exactly 3 yuan.

"I think the setting of this option is very unreasonable, because I will understand that I have to click it to donate money." Feng told reporters that the donation page of the Easy Raising Platform did not provide a detailed explanation of the "green channel medical service". Small orange text can fool donors into thinking this is a required option.

Reporter's actual measurement: There is controversy over the check position on the payment page

The reporter clicked on the fundraising and donation page provided by Feng, which contained help stories, fundraising announcements, fundraising updates, and help records. If the user wants to donate, he or she needs to first allow access to WeChat or phone information.

After clicking on the amount, a "Love Feedback" pop-up window will pop up, prompting that after donating, you can receive 1.36 million yuan in accident protection. Below is the donor's real name and ID number, and a row of small orange characters indicates that it is a green medical service. Instructions and health notifications: Donors can continue to confirm payment after clicking "I have read and agree".

The font size and position of the "Green Medical Service" item to be checked are similar to the privacy and service descriptions of some apps commonly used on mobile phones.

After the reporter clicked on the "Green Medical Service Description", it was shown that the service is called "Green Medical Channel Service" and is divided into a regular version and a basic version. It is provided by Beijing Qingsongchou Network Technology Co., Ltd., the issuing company of the Qingsongchou platform.

The service benefits of the ordinary version include seven major items, namely, appointment registration, inpatient housekeeper, surgical arrangement, remote consultation, secondary diagnosis, new drug search, and health science popularization; the basic version is relatively missing three items: inpatient housekeeper, surgical arrangement, and secondary diagnosis.

Feng told reporters that he believed that the "green medical service" to be checked was suspected of forced tying and inducing users to buy.

"This is a trap because I am donating money and not buying anything, but its setting is very confusing, so I clicked on it without paying attention."

Platform response: You can apply for a refund within 7 working days

In response to the problem of inducing purchases in the "green medical service project" of the EasyCho platform, the reporter contacted the platform's customer service.

Customer service responded that the 3 yuan extra paid by the user was most likely to enable the green medical channel service.

"Green Doctor Service" is for purchasers who can quickly "green pass" services if they are hospitalized, such as helping you register, consult, etc. "The green pass service is for the payer himself and can be canceled."

If I don’t check the service box, can I donate?

The customer service responded that you can click "Confirm" when confirming the payment and "Whether to cancel the payment". When you want to pay again, you will be reminded once and then click "Cancel".

Regarding the cancellation plan, customer service said that you can apply for a refund at any time, but there is a time limit, which is 1 to 7 working days.

If you do not want to deduct fees when making a donation, you can read the prompts and select "Cancel".
