A 24-year-old was seriously injured using a parcel scanner in an argument between two work colleagues at a delivery company in Erfurt.
The other work colleague, 33 years old, was slightly injured, the police said.
The 33-year-old had hit his younger work colleague with a parcel scanner.
The 24-year-old is then said to have hit his colleague with a postbox and slightly injured him.
The 24-year-old was seriously injured in the head area and taken to hospital.
According to the information, there had previously been an argument between the two men for unknown reasons.
The altercation occurred on Wednesday morning.
