After the accident, the Nansha District Government immediately coordinated two ferries to ensure the transportation of residents and goods, and made every effort to ensure villagers' travel by increasing ferry frequency, deploying bus connections, and accelerating the construction of temporary docks.
Due to the breakage of the water supply pipeline to Sanmin Island, Nansha District organized 10 water trucks at 9 o'clock that day to provide water to residents on the island and speed up the repair of water supply facilities.
