Nearly 4,000 sets of cultural relics are on display, of which more than three-quarters of the precious cultural relics are on display for the first time.

  As the first major national archaeological museum in China to display Shang civilization in a panoramic manner, the museum's exhibitions focus on the theme of Shang civilization, including three parts: "Exploring Shang Civilization", "Great Shang Civilization" and "Shang Civilization in the World" to clarify the development of Shang Civilization context, showing archeology with Chinese style, Chinese characteristics, and Chinese style, and explaining the world significance of Shang civilization.

  The museum has four thematic exhibitions including "Where Did Changing Come From - Thematic Exhibition of Tombs of East Asia in Yinxu Huayuanzhuang" and "Who Are the Sons - Special Exhibition of Oracle Bones in Yinxu Huayuanzhuangdong" and a special immersive digital exhibition. Nearly 4,000 sets of bronzes, pottery, jades, oracle bones and other cultural relics have been produced. The number of cultural relics on display is huge and diverse. More than three-quarters of the precious cultural relics are on display for the first time.
