According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, health problems were reported in January, including a man in his 20s who became confused after ingesting a product believed to contain 1D-LSD.



In response to this situation, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided that it is necessary to broadly regulate the production and distribution of ingredients other than designated drugs, and as of the 19th, based on the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has banned their sale in stores nationwide and on the internet. Regarding dangerous drugs that contain ingredients similar to legally regulated drugs, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reported that last year, there were a number of cases in which people complained of poor physical condition and were taken to the hospital after ingesting products containing ingredients similar to cannabis. banned the sale of 38 products in December last year, and with the addition of six products on the 19th, the number of products banned has increased to 44.



The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is also considering making the ingredients contained in banned products subject to regulation as designated drugs.
