Khalil Al-Hayya, deputy head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, said that the Palestinian resistance is still pursuing the occupation army wherever it is in the Gaza Strip with the capabilities it possesses, stressing that Israel will not obtain its prisoners except for three prices: providing relief to the people, stopping the aggression, and exchanging Prisoners.

Al-Hayya confirmed - during an interview with Al Jazeera - that despite the massive losses among civilians and facilities, and the attempt to displace and kill people through a war of starvation, the occupation failed miserably in achieving its goals of recovering prisoners and eliminating resistance capabilities, contrary to the lies and allegations of the occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Hamas leader added that the Palestinian people still embrace their resistance, which is still wrapped around its people and is pursuing the occupation with the capabilities it possesses, with a strong will and solid determination, without surrender or submission, stressing that the occupation awaits it in Rafah what it has known in all previous locations in the north and center.

Regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Al-Hayya said that there is a tragic situation that the people of Gaza are experiencing, imposed by the occupation through a policy of genocide through starvation. The world and international systems have failed in their moral test in the face of these crimes of the occupation, and in their obligation to deliver aid to the civilians who are suffering from this famine.

Regarding the ongoing negotiations to reach an agreement to stop the war, Al-Hayya said that the framework of the agreement that was presented was withdrawn by the occupation last week, stressing that an agreement cannot be reached while the occupation refuses the return of the displaced and withdrawal.

Paris Agreement

Al-Hayya explained that the occupation formulated the Paris Agreement to serve its goals, and retracted fundamental understandings, including stopping the aggression and withdrawing from the center of the Gaza Strip. It also rejected the return of the displaced and then withdrew from the texts what it might say would end the war and aggression.

He added that Netanyahu is keen to prolong the battle with lies and hopes that he will not achieve, by talking about unacceptable demands from Hamas, while he refuses to stop the aggression, bring in aid, and return the displaced to their homes, which clearly means a lack of seriousness in these negotiations.

Al-Hayya stressed that Hamas will under no circumstances accept political and military pressure from the occupation, or from anyone else, stressing that just as the occupation failed to extend its control over the northern and central regions, it will also fail to extend its control over the city of Rafah.

He pointed out that Hamas agreed to move forward with the negotiations after receiving assurances from several parties that they would lead to an end to the aggression, but the last days have witnessed a retreat from those assurances, adding that the resistance and the people are determined to restore the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.

Al-Hayya stressed that the occupation will not get its prisoners except for three prices: providing relief to the people of the Gaza Strip, stopping the aggression, and exchanging prisoners, adding that Netanyahu does not want to take back his prisoners, but rather aims to kill them in order to prolong the war in order to save himself.

Regarding the widening circle of international positions supporting the declaration of a Palestinian state, Al-Hayya considered this a positive but late reaction, adding that the world has realized today that without a fully sovereign Palestinian state, a national consensus on it, and the return of refugees, the region will not calm down.
