  During the Spring Festival, Guangxi sees a peak in passenger flow. According to statistics, Guangxi's incoming passenger flow increased by 7% year-on-year, and its outgoing passenger flow increased by 18% year-on-year, with a net increase of more than 10 million passengers. Among them, the number of people returning to Guangxi accounted for 25%, and men became the main force returning home, accounting for 58%. The "post-80s" and "post-90s" groups have become the mainstream of returning home, accounting for more than 50%. In terms of transportation, short-distance travel is very popular, with trips between 200 and 500 kilometers accounting for 48%, and cars have become the preferred mode of travel.

  In terms of tourism, tourists from neighboring provinces such as Guangzhou, Guizhou, and Yunnan are more fond of Guangxi’s mountains and rivers. Among them, Guilin, Nanning and Hechi have become the top three in terms of tourist reception, with Nanning increasing by 23% year-on-year in 2023. Citizens in Nanning, Yulin, and Guilin especially like to travel out of the province, among which male tourists dominate, accounting for 59%, mainly concentrated in the "post-80s" and "post-90s" age groups.

According to data, in Guangxi, delicacies such as boiled shrimp, taro meat, and rice dumplings have become popular choices at the reunion dinner table, which together create unique memories for Guangxi people on the New Year table. On New Year's Eve, people are full of enthusiasm, celebrating the end of the year and welcoming the New Year, especially those born in the 1980s. During the Spring Festival, various cities in Guangxi held various folk cultural activities such as dragon and lion dances, pole dancing, and Spring Ox festivals. The peak passenger flow exceeded 4.5 million people, adding a strong flavor to the New Year.
