Takuya Matsunaga, who lost his wife and daughter in a runaway accident in Ikebukuro, Tokyo in 2019, gave a lecture to truck drivers in Tokyo, appealing to truck drivers to ``prevent at least one accident by showing compassion and caring for others.'' .

The lecture was held by a general logistics company headquartered in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, and was attended by approximately 260 employees who work as truck drivers.



Takuya Matsunaga, who lost his wife Mana and eldest daughter Riko in an out-of-control accident that occurred in Ikebukuro, Tokyo in April 2019, looks back on his memories while introducing videos and photos and says, ``Every day I live with them.'' I thought that this would continue forever, but the day came when I realized that it was just an illusion.Immediately after the accident, I thought that there was no point in living and thought about taking my own life, but when I learned about the reality of the bereaved family, I realized that it was just an illusion. I started to think that accidents could be prevented."



He then appealed, saying, ``I think people are working hard every day to prevent accidents from happening, but I hope people can prevent at least one accident by showing compassion for each other and caring for others.''



One participant, a 55-year-old driver who is in charge of delivering office supplies, said, ``I felt that all I could say was to avoid traffic accidents.I want to be careful when driving to avoid causing accidents.'' We were talking.
