On February 16 (the seventh day of the first lunar month), railways across the country carried 15.288 million passengers, setting a record high for single-day passenger traffic during Spring Festival travel for three consecutive days. The person in charge of the Passenger Transport Department of the China Railway Group said that judging from the advance ticket sales of Railway 12306, on February 17, there were more passengers departing from Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Wuhan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanchang and other cities.   Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has coordinated with major stations in Beijing to extend subway operating hours, increase the supply of buses, taxis, and online ride-hailing services to ensure that arriving passengers can leave the station quickly. Taiyuan Bureau Group Company arranged to operate 101 additional passenger trains, including 47 additional EMU trains from Taiyuan South to Shanghai Hongqiao, Xi'an North, Chengdu East and other places.
