A child died at a bus stop in the Neuallermöhe district of Hamburg

A child was run over by a bus in Hamburg-Neuallermöhe and died. The ten-year-old died at the scene of the accident on Friday afternoon, the fire department announced.
“The first ambulance crew to arrive found a boy who had unfortunately already died, and unfortunately they could only report him with certain signs of death,” said fire department spokesman Timo Riedel.
According to the information, the bus driver, passengers and accident witnesses were looked after by the emergency services and the crisis intervention team of the German Red Cross. The emergency chaplains also took care of emergency services from the fire department and a rescue helicopter.
Neither the police nor the fire department were initially able to provide any information about the cause of the accident.
