On February 15, more than 600 migrant workers from Tongzi, Guizhou took the D1831 Guangdong-Guizhou cooperative return-to-work employment train for free, departing from Tongzi East Station at 9:56 and heading to Guangzhou South Station in one stop. This is also the first special train for returning migrant workers to be launched in Guizhou Province in 2024.
At 8:30, in the square in front of Tongzi East Station, the county’s first batch of organized labor export ceremony in 2024 was held. The Tongzi County Federation of Trade Unions, together with China Post Group Tongzi Branch and other enterprises, distributed "love gift packages" containing instant noodles, bread, mineral water, quilts and other supplies to returning migrant workers. Afterwards, the migrant workers entered the station in an orderly manner with their luggage, took the Guangdong-Guizhou cooperative return-to-work employment train, and headed to Guangzhou, Zhuhai and other places to start work in the new year.
As a major labor export county in Guizhou Province, more than 100,000 people go out to work in Tongzi County every year. There are about 23,600 Tongzi employees working in Guangdong, mainly in manufacturing, textile, electronic equipment production and other industries. Since 2020, Tongzi County has The county has incorporated organized labor export work into the county's national economy and development plan, and established overseas labor service workstations, township labor service workstations and village (community) employment public service points to form a labor export management and service network with internal and external coordination and linkage between up and down. , and strive to provide employment, rights protection and other services for Tongzi migrant workers.
