In a Madmoizelle video broadcast on Wednesday February 14, Lénie, eliminated from the "Star Academy" at the gates of the semi-final, returned to her exceptional adventure at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. The youngest of the class of 2023 also spoke about her childhood in the South and revealed that she almost lost her life when she was very young.

Lénie will undoubtedly have marked the eleventh of the

. At 18, the young woman showed the public and teachers that she was a complete artist, as gifted in singing as in dancing. Her elimination at the gates of the semi-final last January was therefore a shock for all fans of the show who already saw her leave with the trophy.

“Putting on makeup is therapy”

Lénie herself had a lot of trouble coping with her elimination. “I think I had an emotional shock,” she told us after the prime. Now recovered from her emotions, the teenager takes advantage of her loved ones and prepares for the

 Star Academy tour.

Between two rehearsals, Lénie gave a filmed interview to Madmoizelle in which we see her putting on makeup. "It's a bit like my therapy to put on makeup, it makes me feel good. Lip liner is my whole life. The bronzer that I discovered at Star

with Héléna, I've been applying it ever since, even the eyes!", she explained before confiding in her passion for singing: "I've been singing since I was 4 years old. 'Petit Papa Noël' is the first song my mother found out I was singing and I have the video."

“I almost got a third degree burn”

The

Star Academy

was obviously a dream for Lénie but also for her mother, who supported her 100% in this project. The mother and daughter have always been very close, and it was one ordeal in particular that united them. "When I was very little, I almost had third-degree burns on 26% of my body. I almost died, so I was in intensive care for two months. My mother and I, from that moment on- there, when I left the hospital, we were like sisters, very close. Since that day, without her, my life has no meaning", revealed Lénie in her interview for Madmoizelle.
