On the 26th of last month, a 64-year-old piano teacher who lived in a house in Imabari City's Matsumoto-cho was beheaded and murdered. Police suspect Masamichi Sakakibara, a self-proclaimed office worker from Saijo City. A man (34) was arrested on the day of the incident for allegedly pulling the arm of the woman's 35-year-old second daughter on the street near the scene of the incident, and an investigation is underway.



At the time, a male junior high school student who had come to the woman's piano class was found with his hands and feet bound at the woman's home, but subsequent investigation revealed that Sakakibara was suspected of restraining the student and inflicting minor injuries. According to interviews with investigators, the police have decided to arrest him again on the 16th.
