Thanks to his role as Robert Oppenheimer in the blockbuster of the same name, Cillian Murphy is increasingly being recognized and spoken to on the street. But there are no photos with the Irish actor for fans, as he revealed to “GQ” magazine.

When he was approached in Dublin by a fan who asked for a photo, Murphy replied: "Oh, I don't take photos." In return, the disappointed fan was given 20 seconds to talk to the actor, as the magazine further reported. This scene is described in the cover story of the March issue.

"I think it's just better to say hello and have a little chat," says Murphy. He also advised his actor friends to do the same, but they would only say that it would make them feel bad. Murphy defends his approach: "Every place you were during the day doesn't have to be recorded online for eternity like in a photo diary."

The actor lives with his family in a suburb of Dublin on the Irish coast. Murphy is known from the series “Peaky Blinders”. He has already worked with "Oppenheimer" director Christopher Nolan several times - in "Inception", "Dunkirk" and the "Batman" films, in which he played the villain Scarecrow.
