The typical CAN 2024 team designated by CAF
After the coronation of Côte d'Ivoire against Nigeria, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) published its standard team on Wednesday February 14.

In the typical CAF team selected by the technical study group, there are six players who participated in the final: three Ivorians and three Nigerians. “
The team was meticulously selected, taking into account the dominance of the teams which reached the latter stages of the tournament
,” says the CAF technical study group.
On the Elephants side, we find in particular Jean Michael Seri, aligned by Emerse Faé from the round of 16. For Nigeria, central defender and captain William Troost-Ekong, voted best player of the tournament by CAF, is one of those chosen for this eleven. The Equatorial Guinean Emilio Nsue, top scorer of the tournament (five goals) and suspended by his federation, is selected at the forefront.

, semi-finalists, are also represented. There is particularly Ronwen Williams, named best goalkeeper of the tournament, for Bafana Bafana. For the DRC, Captain Chancel Mbemba has not been forgotten.
