The US rock band Pearl Jam around frontman Eddie Vedder wants to go on a world tour with a new album. The grunge rockers announced the start of their concert tour on Tuesday (local time) in Vancouver, Canada, at the beginning of May. In Europe, performances are planned in Dublin, Manchester, London, Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Lisbon from mid-June. Two concerts on the Berlin Waldbühne are also on the program at the beginning of July. The “Dark Matter” tour is scheduled to end in Sydney, Australia in mid-November.

The band announced their 12th studio album “Dark Matter” for April 19th. It is the follow-up album to “Gigaton” from 2020. The new recordings were made within a few weeks in 2023 in the Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California, the band said. Successful producer Andrew Watt (Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop) was on board.
