Duchess Meghan has found a new podcast partner after the end of the collaboration with the music streaming service Spotify. The US podcast network Lemonada Media would like to distribute the first season of Meghan Markle's podcast "Archetypes" and develop a new podcast series with the royal, as the company announced on the X platform. No further details about the new podcast project were announced.

In the post, Lemonada Media shared an article from the industry newspaper “Deadline”. Accordingly, »Archetypes« will be made accessible on all podcast platforms via Lemonada. Meghan also commented in a statement quoted by the trade publication Variety. She is overjoyed to become part of the “Lemonada family”. According to the report, “Archetypes” will be available on other streaming platforms in spring 2024.

Meghan had produced a podcast called "Archetypes" for Spotify - she spoke to prominent women such as Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton and Serena Williams. But after twelve episodes it was over, as was announced in mid-June 2023 when the multi-million dollar collaboration came to an early end.

Spotify and the royal couple announced their collaboration at the end of 2020. At that time, several series were advertised. According to US media, the project did not meet the productivity targets required by Spotify. Therefore, the couple will not receive the full amount of the contract, which is said to be worth almost 23 million euros.

Since stepping down from their royal duties, Harry and Meghan have tried to stand on their own two feet financially and have signed several contracts worth millions to do so. These include a deal with the streaming service Netflix and a contract with the publisher Penguin Books, where Harry's autobiography "Reserve" was published.
