On the morning of the 13th, there was a fire that completely destroyed a house in Komae City, Tokyo, and one person who lived in the house, believed to be an elderly man, died, and another man is unconscious and in critical condition.

Around 6:30 a.m. on the 13th, a neighbor called the fire department in Iwatokita, Komae City, saying there was a fire coming out of a house.



A total of 22 fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about two hours, but a total of 50 square meters of the two-story wooden house was completely destroyed.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, two men were rescued from the house, but one of them, an elderly man, died, and the other man, who was in his 60s, was taken to the hospital, where he was said to be unconscious and in critical condition. That's it.



The two appear to be a parent and child living in this house, and the Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating.
