China News Service, Nanning, February 13 (Wu Shibin, Huang Jin, Wang Supeng) The Guangxi Fangcheng Port Coast Guard Bureau reported on the 13th that during the Spring Festival, the law enforcement officers of the Guangxi Fangcheng Port Coast Guard Station, who adhere to the front line of the sea, are on alert, "non-stop" during the holiday, and continue to promote crackdowns. In a special operation to control smuggling, four suspected smuggling cases were discovered in succession on February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), with a case value of approximately 6 million yuan.

At about 1 a.m. on February 10, while patrolling the waters near East Bay, the Bureau's law enforcement boat discovered a high-powered motorboat with its navigation lights turned off. It carried a large amount of cargo packed in green woven bags in the cabin, and the behavior was very suspicious. The Coast Guard law enforcement officer immediately approached the boat and shouted to stop the boat for inspection. The motorboat refused to stop and sped away, and was eventually captured by the Coast Guard law enforcement officer. After inspection, the motorboat was loaded with about 16 tons of frozen products such as cooked pork tripe, beef offal, and chicken feet. No legal source procedures and inspection and quarantine certificates for this batch of frozen products were found, and it was suspected of smuggling.
In addition, the bureau also seized three cases of suspected smuggling of frozen goods in the waters near Erbailong, Pearl Bay, and Baisha Bay at 9:00, 13:00, and 15:00 respectively on the same day. Four people involved were arrested on site, and the suspected smuggling of large horsepower was seized. Three motor boats were used and 11.2 tons of tripe and other frozen products were seized. At present, the bureau has detained the above-mentioned ships and frozen goods in accordance with the law, and the case is under further investigation.
