Ahead of the Peach Festival in March, an event is being held in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture to display over 500 hina dolls made since the early Showa era.

At the ``Former Mizuno Family Residence'', a registered tangible cultural property of the country, located on the grounds of the ``Echizen Old Kiln Museum'' in Echizen-cho, Fukui Prefecture, over 500 Hina dolls made since the early Showa period are on display ahead of the March Peach Festival. I am.

All of the dolls were donated by ordinary families, and you can feel the changes of the times through the decorations and costumes of the dolls.

Among these, the ``Goten Kazari'' created from the early Showa era to around 1955 are inspired by the Kyoto Imperial Palace, and Hina dolls are displayed inside a luxurious golden building.

Hina dolls made around the first year of the Showa era are also accompanied by ohitsu and tableware, showing the attention to detail of the craftsmen of the time.

In addition, there were rare Hina dolls made of ceramics that entertained the visitors.

Miyuki Anezaki of the Echizen Ancient Kiln Museum said, ``I want people to enjoy the traditional Hina dolls in the calm atmosphere of an old folk house.''

The exhibition will be on display until the 3rd of next month.
