  The person in charge of the infrastructure department of Guangdong Communications Group said that during the Spring Festival, nearly 3,000 builders stayed at their posts to speed up the construction of 10 major projects, including the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, the Huangmaohai Cross-sea Channel, the Jingzao Bridge on the Chaoshan Ring Line, and the Xiongxin Expressway.

  Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor: About 500 builders are sprinting towards the goal of opening to traffic

  This Spring Festival is the last Spring Festival during the construction period of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor. In order to ensure the progress of the project and construction safety, about 500 builders stayed at their posts and stepped up efforts to install mechanical and electrical facilities in the tunnel, pave asphalt pavement, and provide service support.

  "The construction of housing construction, traffic safety, infrastructure and other projects of the project will continue, and the construction of guardrails and expansion joints will also continue to keep the construction progress unabated."   In addition to workers, road management personnel also frequently shuttled back and forth on the bridge. "At present, there are still 4 to 5 working surfaces in the immersed tube tunnel. I make two inspections a day. My duty is to check whether the construction workers have done a good job of safety enclosure, whether they have worn safety equipment, and whether they meet safety requirements.   Huangmaohai Cross-sea Channel: Nearly 1,000 builders stick to their posts

  At the T3 standard construction site, the installation of the steel box girder and cable stays of the main bridge is progressing in an orderly manner. Tang Chunyong, a construction worker from Guangxi who stayed at the construction site to celebrate the New Year, was sitting in the "Sea Station" to rest. When he mentioned his New Year's wishes, he said with a smile: "I can't explain the truth. I just hope that the project will be completed on time, make more money, and let my family live."   In order to ensure the smooth closing of Gaolan Port Bridge and Huangmaohai Bridge, nearly 1,000 builders worked hard at the construction site during the Spring Festival to carry out steel box girder erection, cable stay installation and road paving work.

  At present, the construction of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Channel Project is progressing smoothly. The five main towers and two tunnels have been completed. The construction of the superstructure continues, and the main project is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.

  Qinghua Expressway: The Yi brothers left behind project is busy with construction

  On the third day of the first lunar month, at the construction site of the Beijiang Super Bridge of the Qinghua Expressway Project, the roar of construction machinery was heard one after another. Workers were working intensively to ensure the progress of the project.

  Among this group of builders, two Yi brothers, Luo Gelamen and Luo Gelag, chose to stay on duty. The brothers are from Liangshan, Sichuan, 1,638 kilometers away from Qingyuan City, Guangdong, where the project is located. This is their first Spring Festival in the Qinghua project. When asked whether he missed home, his brother Rogolamen said with a smile: "Of course I miss home, but project construction is more important. When the project is completed, we will go home together."

  The Beijiang Super Bridge is a key control project of the Qinghua Expressway Project. At present, the project has completed more than 6,700 pile foundations, 909 cap beams, 3,470 piers and 160 culverts.

  Chaoshan Ring Line Jingzao Bridge: “Hotness” and “Speed” Have Not Diminished at All

  Walking into the construction site of the Jingzao Bridge project of Chaoshan Ring Expressway, the "heat" and "speed" of the construction site have not diminished at all. Engineering vehicles shuttle back and forth, and safety officers, surveyors, steel structure installers, steel bar workers, etc. all perform their duties.

  Che Fangtang, who is from Guizhou, came to the Jingzao Bridge project in 2022 and is currently engaged in technical management of the steel girder construction of the main bridge in the Nan'an work area. He has been on the front line of construction during the Spring Festival for two consecutive years. "This year is the critical stage for the main bridge to be closed. As a bridge construction worker, I hope to make more contributions to the construction of the bridge and ensure that the main bridge of the Jingzao Bridge is closed as scheduled." Che Fangtang said.

  At present, the Chaoshan Ring Expressway Jingzao Bridge project has completed the construction of pile foundations, caps, piers, cap beams and other substructures of the entire bridge. The main towers in the north and south on both sides of the strait have been capped, and the steel beams and rods of the main bridge have been manufactured. During the construction phase of the bridge's steel girder cantilever erection, we will tackle the closing node of the main bridge.

  In addition, Guanghe Expressway Huangtian Service Area, Xiongxin Expressway, Shenzhen-Shantou West Reconstruction and Expansion Project Tamsui Viaduct, Pingshan Viaduct, Yuandunshan Tunnel, Guangshao Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project (Southern Section), Longxun Expressway, Wushen-Shenzhen Contact Line, Zhanjiang Work at airport expressway and other construction sites will not stop during the Spring Festival, and builders will be stationed at the front line of the project to promote project construction.
