China News Service, Ningbo, February 12th (Fang Kun, Chen Xiuqi, Luo Mengyuan) DIY lanterns, writing big red blessing characters, playing festive music... As soon as I walked into the Jinsheng Yiyang Hospital located in Zhaobaoshan Street, Zhenhai District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, I was attracted by the Surrounded by the flavor of the New Year, the entire Yiyangyuan is a joyful scene.

On February 11, in the restaurant of Jinsheng Yiyang Hospital, the elderly sat around the table and tasted the steaming dishes. The caregivers were standing by, reminding the elderly to chew carefully and slowly from time to time. The warm, loving and joyful pictures captured the strong festive atmosphere.

The food is fragrant and the love is served. During the Spring Festival, Yiyangyuan specially designed a "hidden menu" for the elderly, and the moss-striped white shrimp is one of them.

"The taste is very authentic, I love it!" After tasting the small white shrimp with moss strips, 86-year-old grandma Zhou Xiaoqiu praised it repeatedly. It is worth mentioning that this is the second day of the Jiachen Year of the Dragon, and she has created a series of calligraphy and painting works full of New Year flavor. “This small white shrimp with moss tastes like home. After eating it, I felt... I'm inspired to create." Zhou Xiaoqiu said with a smile on her face while wearing a red scarf.

"Starting from the New Year's Eve dinner on New Year's Eve to the third day of the first lunar month, we prepared extra meals for more than 300 elderly people staying in the hospital, including Ningbo specialty small glutinous rice balls, smoked fish, gray sauce dumplings and other meals to satisfy the elderly. Tasting the New Year's flavor of 'home' also brings them good luck in the New Year." Ruan Xiaojing, director of Jinsheng Yiyuan Home, said with a smile that on the first day of the first lunar month, the elderly eat rice dumplings with red yeast pulp and glutinous rice balls. I hope everyone can enjoy the sweetness. Sweet, harmonious and beautiful.

"I won't go back to my hometown for the Spring Festival this year! The elderly at home are taken care of by my brother and sister-in-law. I feel relieved!" This year is Jiang Weisu's fourth year of working in elderly care. Jiang Weisu is from Ruijiang, Sichuan. She told reporters that in the past few years, she has seen a lot of loneliness. She feels that the elderly are the loneliest group, and she wants to do something meaningful for them.

"My family understands very well, and if the old people are happy, we are happy!" Jiang Weisu said.

In Jinshengyi Nursing Home, there are many caregivers who, like Jiang Weisu, regard the hospital as their home and the elderly as their relatives, and are silently on the front line of serving the elderly. "We have nearly 80 caregivers in Yiyang Home, most of whom come from other places. But during this year's Spring Festival holiday, nearly 90% of the caregivers chose to stick to their posts." Ruan Xiaojing said that for this reason, the hospital has prepared benefits for the caregivers.

The warm sunset brings warmth to the city. Jinshengyi Nursing Home is "not closed during the Spring Festival". Messengers conveying love, warmth and care one by one, guarding every elder with heart and affection, building a happy home for the elderly and creating a unique "reunion" New Year. (over)
